The XOD's now have 140 boats entered for Cowes Week in their centenary year. Has there ever been a larger fleet at a one-design keelboat event in the UK? |

Without checking - I cannot be fussed TBH
I think the Flying Fifteen Worlds at HISC may well be able to top that.
Unless a Fifteen does not count as a one-design

Currently 132 FFs on the HISC entry list, but 15 of those are for the GBR Champs only (assume not qualified for Worlds) and about 30 for the Worlds only, so neither regatta is going to beat the XODs. BTW I think the FF is easily as much a one-design as the XOD... |
