It seems ages since we have had a light wind drift. Even the Wednesday evenings have been a bit exciting this year......

This might just be me, but I've noticed that each season we tend to have either almost all really windy Wednesday racing, or a drift every week.  We very rarely get a mix.

I believe that at UK latitudes the depressions tend to come in at about 7 day intervals, which would explain such a tendency...

I have quite enjoyed all of this strong wind, it makes topper racing fun (when we go out)
