Contacts with some cheap sunglasses is a better idea - if you break the glasses it is not the end of the world. I use tinted safety glasses that have UVA and UVB protection (and they cost £6 from B&Q)

I have been told Adidias Evil Eye are quite good - you can swap the sides for a ski goggle strap if you want to.

I used my Dewalt safety glasses from Screwfix over the weekend (£11+) for the first time. Comfortable, fitted adjustable strap, tough, wraparound, easy on the eye - even look good. Only downside as that glare handling could be better - but certainly on the sea in bright sun this weekend they were just the job.

I have some gill ones, the trouble is they mist up making it impossible to see wher ei am going. Anyone got any tips on how to stop them misting? ------------- |

You can get demisting stuff to spray and rub on. Ultimately it comes down to airflow. I find it's fine on the beat then I can't see a thing two boatlengths into the run... Another reason I hate windward leeward courses...

Another vote for Contacts + cheapo UV sunglasses, I get the sunglasses from Tesco or Sainsbury's - they're under £15 most of the time, break them/lose them = no tears! unlike my last Oakley's which fell out of my shirt pocket and got run over

u could always put a chord on ur glasses but ye the contacts and cheep pair sound good!!!

the adidas ones I mentioned can be made up to have precription lenses put in, plus they're wrap round, which is better.
