On website it says:

Please Note

To compete in the East Coast Piers Race you must have one person over 18 years of age and one person of 16 years of age on the boat. If only one is present then they must be 18 years of age.

Should this actually say "one person over 16 years of age" or is this a move to give kids who have just finished their GSCEs a chance to sail big cats after their exams?

To clarify, one person on the boat has to be 18 years of age or older...
The other person on the boat has to be a minimum of 16 years old.

The 16/17 year olds need parental permission to take part in the event.

If you have any questions, email Andrew - info@eastcoastpiersrace.com

Does that not discriminate a lot of people who are not aged 18? Or do you mean 18 and over?

EDIT: Problem solved Smile
