The Grafham Grand Prix takes place this year on January 2nd – perfectly planned to let you get away from the dishes and to blow away the seasonal excesses. We hope to get 8 or more catamarans taking part in each start so that we get our own prizes so if you fancy getting out of the house over the holidays why not come? Get your mates to come too.Wink

The Notice of Race is here:

It is a pre-entry event and entry forms have to be in by 23 December so don't forget to get it in your diary.
Cheers

The closing date for entries is 30 Dec - The NOR was wrong. Confused
Sorry about that.

The Grafham Grand Prix NOR has changed again. The races will now be sailed back to back.

RACE FORMAT

We had intended to follow the customary Grand Prix format of two races with a break for lunch: however, our crustacean friends have interfered with these plans and, in order to ensure that there is time to hose down visiting boats before we run out of daylight, we’ve decided that the two races should run back-to-back. As usual, the first race is scheduled for 11.00 but, because of the need to ‘de-shrimp’ visiting boats, in the event of postponement, no warning signal will be made after 13.30.

GRAND PRIX PRIZES

There will be prizes for each of the four handicap fleets (Fast Asymmetrics / Fast Cats, Medium Handicap / Slow Cats, Slow Handicap and Singlehanders) and separately for any class with more than eight entries.

Pre-entry is obligatory, with a closing date of December 30th (not December 23rd as previously advertised!), so get those forms filled in and help to make the 30th GGP one to remember.
