There have been a number of posts on these forums with regard to stolen boats and / or stolen equipment.

To serve as a reminder, all stolen equipment can be listed, free of charge, by your insurance company on http://www.stolenboats.org.uk - Stolenboats.org.uk . If you have had something stolen, make sure your insurance company adds the equipment to the database.

Anyone considering purchasing a new boat should also check the database to ensure that they are not buying, someone else's boat.
