Hi,

I'm new to Singapore.

I've got a license for sailing boats up to 12 m from
Europe (Spain) - from official sailing european laws.
Does anyone know if it is valid here?

Also, any kind soul whilling me to explain where to
start? as I've only seen ONE Sailing club (Raffels
Marina). Is it sailing not popular here in Singapore?
maybe no wind :P , maybe too expensive?

Thanks!
Carlos

Much as I hesitiate to point people in that direction, as it can be a tad rough, you're probably best asking about this sort of thing at Sailing Anarchy, as I think some of the regulars there are based in Singapore. http://www.sailinganarchy.com - http://www.sailinganarchy.com

Go careful now, there's a rather light touch to moderation

have there, but at least its warm I suppose

The national sailing association in Singapore is affiliated to ISAF, so they should be helpful and know how to help you.
