I was thinking about getting a Go Pro Camera when I wondered if I can get at water proof housing for my Sony Handycam. I contacted Sony and they do waterproof housing with the exception of my model. Typical. Anyway the nice chap suggested I should wait for a couple of months because Sony is bringing out a waterproof compact camera which will take up to 80 hours of video footage in HD on a single card and should be waterproof to 10 meters. He couldn’t give me any more specs though. So just in case anyone was going to fork out might be worth waiting a couple months when there might be another choice in the market.
