Seems to be plenty of scope (given a perfect weather window) for bettering the time, though they have said they won't. I guess the boat could try with different crew? Or are there other maxis out there capable of bettering it? All in all, smashing the 50 days is remarkable. Doesn't seem long since the 80 day challenge was managed.
