I'll be there both days!

Judging for the http://www.yachtsandyachting.com/news/?article=150462 - Concours d'Elegance on Saturday afternoon but should be around the Y&Y stand at other times.

I expected to be greeted by another pile of decomposing bonfire fodder with
scraps of canvas attached to it...

However, I shall be there on the saturday and hopefully elsewhere on the
Sunday, we (the royal company we) have a small stand which at this time I
haven't a clue what we'll be displaying, but I'm sure 'it'll be alright on the
night..' and yes I expect there will be stickers and probably lots of kids, I
shall bring a cattle prod.

Oooh. Stickers. Very tempting.

I'll be there on Saturday. Hopefully picking up a nice
new boat cover. Might save that till last thing though.

Just had a thought Grumpf. Do Dakine do any sort of
footstrap that could be fitted to a rack in a 'removable
so as not to get crushed by the cover' kind of way?

What kind of rack?

i.e. what kind of craft would the said rack thing be attached to?

Can't go having my fine brand attached to certain things with quasi religious
overtones, they would probably self destruct in any event..

You must come and ask and make me be objectionably pleasant fawning and
obsequious..

Aah 4000 yes a bit of taking notice might have revealed that in your sign
off, so now then, I've forgotten the question again what was it?

Right removable so they don't get crushed by the cover?

Hmm, is that logical?

I mean if they were that easy to remove, might that not suggest you and
they might remove themselves during in high speed (do 4000's do high
speed?) bouts of bouncing wetness..

The covers do come off, of some models, the Primo springs to mind.

But would a cover really put them under that much pressure?

I guess I'd better start thinking of suitable stuff to bring to this show, like
gloves, footstraps, gear bags, ladies hand bags..

Should be around on the Saturday, spending some of it at the B14. If I haven't been further maimed by one this weekend.

A picture paints a thousand words and all that. Chances of the Mrs getting her foot into the strap - slim to none.

I wish Castle Cove had that much space too! I think this
was Ullswater before I bought the boat.

Going on the Saturday, picking up as many freebies as we can.

Most importantly this year i'm going to be watching the Club of the Year announcement ...

In other show news, head up to the NEC next weekend and head over to the indoor pool and try some Kayaking. I'll do my best to get you all soaked! (Free rubber duck to any y&y forumites who give it a try!)
(Offer only valid 27th & 28th Feb as they are the days I am around!)

Sunday on the Supernova stand on and off, drooling over Merlins, looking at Squibs (I presume they are there) and catching up on the Lark stand.

Supercrew Mrs TITB will also be in attendance so after her sailing hibernation I familiarise her again with some of the subtle nuances of the sport. "Pointy bit at the front, flappy stuff above us please, err no I don't know what it does either, yes we *do* need one of those"

I'm hoping to bump into some of you all there. Supernova Nationals white polo shirt, Phantom build, glasses, not much hair....you get the picture.

Like some other things - sailing is more enjoyable when you do it with someone else
