Although it's very helpful, paulburton, I can't help thinking that sjk1992 is after something a little more... economical than buying brand new...

How much of the International 2 Pot varnish stuff is needed
to re varnish a 600 mast? Can you do 2 masts with one lot
of the stuff? Its pretty expensive (for poor students) and
sjk1992 and i want to do both our masts at the same time
whilst spending as little money as possible.

I think I did my mast with 3 coats of the stuff in much less than one pot. I can't remeber exactly though, but if you mix it in little bits and do thin coats it spreads a long way.

600 732, will call it Sticks and Stones when i get round to it.
Also International 14, 1318
