Advice required please - the fabric of my Suzumar 230 inflatable has become sticky, probably caused by sun's rays. I will have a cover made for the future but what do I use to clean it now.  Suzuki tell me they have no knowledge of this happening previously.

The question is whether its the material of the fabric degrading or something that's got on it - tree sap maybe. If the later then start with soap and warm water. If the former... Hmm, do you really want to be using it at all?

As well as tree sap it could be due to aphids- has this been kept under any trees/bushes at all?
