its with great regret I have to pass on that this years monster race will not be held
However
there is the next SNECCA event at Largs Sailing Club and incorporated into their immense "Cumbraes Weekend "regatta which sees 4 course races on the saturday and a mid distance race around the Cumbrae isles which the whole fleet sails keelboats dinghies and cats , with it being part of a keelboat regatta theresplenty of socials with reception on friday night (which killed me off last year Largs Sc is situated in the Marina with excellent facilities

,wife beater and red wine being a deadly combination) and more on saturday after racing . well worth a visit if you were planning to come to bonny scotland, it is run over the weekend of 22nd/23rd august , the weekend before Loch Ness was planned .
