See link above. I’ve often thought the America’s cup would be a good background to a spy novel. Is Russell Coutts a MI6 agent tracking a Swiss drugs ring. Ernesto did make his money in the pharmaceutical industry and you could stash a lot of stuff in the bulb on the end of those keels.

Pure fantasy of course.

I don't think stashing stuff in the bulb would do anything for the righting moment!

But who checks in all the storage holds of a big racing Yacht? Wildthing could have a whole secret service working from in the bow, who would notice? They're already there to pack up the spinnaker for the next hoist aswell!

not quite on the same theme but there's the odd story of people peeling off their top covers having coming back from some european event or other and the odd illegal jumping out and running away..
