Mark

Is it possible to add a shout box, like the one they have on fastsail.org?

Always good to have virtual chats whilst trying to while those work hours away

You can easily disable the automatic logon option - I did. Besides, if you download the Beta version of msn7, you can sign on under the status you want. So, if you want a sneak peek on who's around, you can sign on as "Appear offline" and no one knows you're there!!!

Last thing: don't complain your friends come and say Hi. At least, you've got friends!!

is the msn 7 beta the one with the 'shakey windows'?

fun for a few minutes and then got rather annoying way to quickly!

only works with other peeps who have MSN 7

Yeah it's got a lot of gimmicks, but it's a bit of fun. There are Flash animations to send, and the smileys are easier to select. Apparently, there are plenty of other functions I haven't used yet, cos I only use MSN for chat! (quite a lot too  )

You learn Latin, you read Russian classics, that sounds perfectly normal to me. Tolstoy rocks! Which one is your favourite?

For pure elegance in the style, try Tourgueniev. If you want the Russian flavour with exquisitely crafted English prose, no one can beat Nabokov. Any other ideas? Spassiba

Let me reassure you, hydro.. I've seen the symptoms before... It gets better with age. I promise you, in a few years' time, you won't even want to own up to the fact you know the characters or you can sing the theme tune!

Thank goodness we don't have Neighbours in France! (we've got worse )

Blackadder goes forth!! Yeee haa, thats really the best! Last episode of that series is soo close to the truth... My great-grandad was in the trenches and he used to tell us (my sister and me) about going "over the top". I was 7, my sis was 4, we couldn't care less at the time!    Now, of course, it makes sense...

"People who were there" are getting fewer and fewer... Dunno if you remember, in Nov 2004, the 90th anniversary of the declaration of War... They brought up all these frail, infinitely ancient men, still scarred by those memories. It's amazing how short a lifespan can be. As teenager, (in the '80s), I used to know a man who'd been to Victor Hugo's state funeral, in 1885!! He was only 5 at the time, and he was 109 when he died. I could have listened to him for hours.. One true witness of the 20th century, he was a talking history book. Have you ever wondered what's the life story of "ordinary" people??

lol

He didn't get a letter from the Queen... He was French!!!!

And being 80 isn't that strange, or that old, if you ask my grandparents. You don't really see yourself age... but you see others getting old around you

I know, inside, I'm still a just a girl. The outside is a bit of a let-down
