Hi all

My Dad (Stuart Jardine) is up for Seahorse Sailor of the Month - see http://www.seahorsemagazine.com/sailor_month/sailormonth.php - http://www.seahorsemagazine.com/sailor_month/sailormonth.php

This was for winning the XOD Captain's Cup for a record seventh time. At the moment he's lagging behind in the poll 46% to Terry Hutchinson (USA) on 54%.

To give a bit more information on his support for sailing, the day after finishing Cowes Week, he went straight into running the Optimist racing at the Lymington junior regatta - not bad for a 75 year old!

I'd really appreciate if you could put a vote in for him!

Cheers

Mark

Never mind vote-rigging, I am more concerned a Y&Y employee has added a link to a rival magazine's website!

I hope you're not saying their website is a rival to ours!!!

I'll make it a hot topic too soon - he needs to get more votes!

Is this competition now less "sailor of the month" and more "sailor who has the most internet-savvy friends of the month" ?

No doubt you techy geeks can work out how to mask MAC/IP addresses so you can make multiple votes from the same PC ... you could then place 1000's of votes ...

Probably could do, I'll ask Mark if this counts as 'work' - he is my boss after all!

I would have thought if it works the pay rise would be in the bag, better hurry as he's down to 45%
