I've been flicking through the Y&Y Guide to Beijing from a few weeks ago to see how close their predictions were and so far it is not a bad performance:

Finn
----
Correctly predicted Gold for GBR
The prediction of silver for DEN was a bit off (actually finished 6th)
The prediction of bronze for ESP was a bit off (actually finished 9th)
The prediction of outsider for IRL was fair (actually finished 21st out of 26th)

49er
----
The prediction of silver for GBR was a bit off (actually finished 9th)
The prediction of Gold for ESP may yet prove to be correct (currently silver but waiting on the protest against DEN)

470 (Men)
---------
Correctly predicted Silver for GBR
For IRL not sure that 16th out of 29 could really be called the predicted contender

Yngling
-------
Correctly predicted Gold for GBR

I think Y&Y deserve a pat on the back for their performance so far

I think the fact that in all the classes top favourites are really struggling shows just how difficult it is to win and what a huge achievement it is for those that do.
