The 2008 Formula 16 Global Challenge will be hosted by Mumbles Yacht Club from Aug 8th-12th.  This will probably be the last time it will be held in the UK for approx the next 4-5yrs as it is likely to be held in Florida next year followed by Singapore, Australia, Holland/Belgium.
At last years event there was one team from the USA and two teams from Australia one of whom was Greg Goodall ( Capricorn, Auz Flyer, Tiapan and now Viper F16 designer/manufacturer)  The main bulk of the competitors were from the UK, BEL and NL.
Pre-entry is available at the following website; http://mumblesyachtclub.co.uk/f16worlds2008/
At present there is a 60-40 split between single handed and two- up teams but that is one of the real beauties about F16, apart from them being a sensible light weight Cat they perform equally well on the race course either one or two up.
So if you're interested in taking part and possibly looking for something a little bit different why not contact me.

However, I might try and sell you either a new or second hand F16.
