Hi can anyone give me any info on the class that is the hobie 14 have not got a clue about them but have been offered one.

what are they worth for a fairly old one

are there many spares floating about.

These are "compitition" to the Dart 15 but I dont think I have seen that many around so will have to say they will be cheap and I don't think spares are readily available. If they are they will be expensive.

If you want it go for it, but if you can't get spares you may end up having to scrap it if you cant mend it.

I might be wrong though!!

but if it has no sails, I think you may struggle to find some.

I know its hard, but you may want to walk away and sail your other boats!!!!!

Buy it! seriously they're bullet proof and a whole lot of fun. I taught in them in France a few years ago, and had great fun on days off taking them out on wavy days. They're pretty quick too, but a little temperamental i.e. I discovered it was possible to pitchpole backwards.

bought it picked it up and is sitting on my driveway was a bargain and well worth it in bits in my opinion if I cant find any sails then I will break it and give someone elses hobie a new lease of life.
