y and y are running a competion to select a photo for the front cover of the dinghy show magazine and have picked probably the dullest photo of cat sailing ever taken. Dose anyone agree or do i just have a chip on my shoulder about the anti cat view that currently exsists in this country.

p.s. hope it wins anyway

Taken by Mark Aldridge (Fast cat fleet captain) at Grafham.  Shame I could not get it added to the "possible" list

It's great hearing about all this now, but did any of you enter the competition when it was open?

Yep, the pic of you is very good. I was just commenting about all the people who posted pics by pros.

Merely demonstrating how poor the chosen photo is compared with how they can be.

Depends on what the other photos are of?

Given that there's a choice of one, why not get behind it?

It might even appeal to the majority of monohull sailors by NOT being too intimidating, with close, one-design racing.

i believe the criteria was to show sailing as accessible and it does that, anyone could take part in that race.
