The nats attendance table http://www.yachtsandyachting.com/classes/?s=44 - gives attendance at the I14 nats this year of 53. May I ask where this number came from? The results pages give 60 boats for the http://www.rys.org.uk/sitedata/Public%20Documents/2007%20Prince%20of%20Wales%20Cup/internaional-cumulative.pdf - moderns of which 2 didn't sail any race, and 10 boats for the http://www.rys.org.uk/sitedata/Public%20Documents/2007%20Prince%20of%20Wales%20Cup/classic-cumulative.pdf - classics , of which 1didn't sail any race.

So I could understand 70 - as the total number of boats entered. I could understand 67 - as the total number of boats which raced at least one race. I could understand 60 - as the total number of moderns entered, and treat the classics as a separate class, which, effectively they are. I could understand 58 - as the total number of moderns which raced at least one race.

I just can't see where 53 comes from?

I just had a look at the results for the POW, and there were 37 finishers, plus the 16 retirees is 53. Don't see the issue myself.

Which by the 14's definition is correct.

what is the problem? Define the Chaps, count the entries.
