This forum needs some spicing up and debate, so here goes: who would you have on your UK born dream team on a boat? Thinking key positions:

Nav: Jules Salter

Tactics: Ado Stead

Driver: Tim Powell/Ben Ainslie

Trimmers: Gerry Mitchell, Andy Hemmings,

Bow: Matt Cornwell

Any thoughts?....

Yes she's done well but would Ellen get on well in a team? A think she's an amazing Solo sailor but it would be very interesting if you put her into a team with the likes of Ben Ainslie, Jules Salter, Ado Steed et al.

I wouldn't want to take anything away from Ellen's great achievment but I suspect she'd be get well beaten in a dinghy.  All that tactics, windshifts and rules stuff is not her thing.  Lawrie Smith there's somebody with the drive of Ellen, experience in dinghies and a lot else, and he is one hell of a ruthless guy.  Where is he?
