So who does what?

At the moment I'm biking every other day and going to the gym a few times a week, plus doing lots of core stability work.

Also, any opinions on which is best for sailing - cycling or running?

I'm told his canoe sank because he had a small stove in it to keep him warm and it burnt a hole in the bottom.

Just goes to prove you can't have your Kayak and heat it.

that's not called off season, it's called adulthood... and by the time you get to go sailing most days again, you'll probably be sailing a solo!

Well, at 45 (nearly 46) I thought I got to adulthood a couple of years ago.....I get to go sailing most days cos a) I instruct and b) I am too lazy to have a proper job...

I sailed a solo once.  Now I sail a contender - definitely an adult boat!

I went for an off road ride yesterday - nice and muddy with lots of puddles.  Pushing those pedals has to be excellent prep for pushing out on the wire!

LOL I've just come back from an off-road bike ride. Wet clay and mud is like riding on ice, with the back wheel slipping all over the place.

I managed a very elegant pitchpole, weeeeheeey all the way over the handlebars!!

Came back goooey brown, covered in slimey mud, full speed through the built-up area. Massive grin

Can't beat that feeling on land!

Shower time now...
