I am looking for a new main and No3 for a benneteau 36.7 First. The boat is mainly used for club racing and a small amount of crusing.

1) Given that we want durability I was considering Pentex with either single sided or double sided tafata? Only Pentex and Kevlar would be in budget.
2) I have had a number of quotes from the following Quantum, North, Sob stad, Dolphin, UK sails, and Momentum in price order.
3) Sob stad gave a quote in Pentex using a fiber path / fiber led technology which seems to be more associated with Kevlar and carbon.

Any views would be welcome on material, sail maker, and fiber path. Many thanks

Tom

If you can't decide between lofts are any of them local to you? I'm a big fan
of Quantum but they are conveniently located at our marina!

Makes life loads easier for repairs and so on

The boats in Portsmouth so there are a few about. I've had a number of positive recommendations about Quantum now so seriously considering them. However, they have come out most expensive on price!
