All,

we are only a couple of weeks away and it would be a shame if poeple who were planning to come did not because they could not get their boats out.  So.......

If I've had a chat with the office at Grafham and if your club is under threat of being closed for F+M, you may bring your boat to Grafham early for the cat open.  If you want to sail this coming weekend, you'll need to pay a Day-sailor rate (or join for the winter !)

Don't Forget to pre book your camper vans......! to do so use the CAT OPEN entry form from the GWSC website.

Or phone the club.

Looking forward to watching the Rugby

On that note, I was talking to the club today and they have secured a screen projector to show the Rugby.

Hope to see some of you there !

(and you don't have to sail a cat to come and join the fun.

It was a pity about the total lack of wind at Grafham but at least the projection of the TV on to a big screen worked well. There must have been something like 150 people watching the Rugby World Cup Final and also quite a lot watching the GP Qualifying. With there being no wind it was the closest thing to action we got all weekend. We will get the speakers in a better position next time the occasion occurs.

The UKCRA information sharing meeting also helpful.

Let's hope we get wind next year!!!
