Great tournament!!! England to beat France. Scotland to beat Argentina. Scotland to beat South Africa England v Scotland final - Patterson scores last minute drop goal to win it!! haha! That's my prediction  What's yours????? |

I think the final game will be the same as the first. Not sure if the result will be the same though. Paterson's last minute drop goal will be for third place.

It was a fantastic effort by the England forwards at the weekend, they destroyed the Aussie pack whose only answer was to collapse the scrums and mauls (collapsing scrums is dangerous play, I think they should have been penalised more heavily for it). After all the Aussie sledging over the last week it was a particularly sweet victory and had me laughing all weekend! I'm quite pleased to see the Kiwis out too as they're always going on about how they're the best in the world. Well done the French for proving them wrong. |

I found out the result while rounding a bouy, a few miles offshore, in a Stratos! The RIB was doing the rounds with a big whiteboard, and you could hear a cheer from every boat as they passed them. I know the east of the Island better, but if I recall there is a bar 1 street over from the front and down towards the center that may be what you are looking for. WELLLLLLL......................... The best team won and safrica deserve it but.......... If that's England on an off year................ We are gonna wipe the floor with 'em next time!!!!!!!!!!!!  In a way losing was a good thing as it will avoid the complacency of being the champions but as soon as we get Strettle back (bye bye Sackey!!!!) and Ellis - we're gonna be a force to be reckoned with. So we lost - but hey, look to the future!!!! |
