Looking at the results coming in from Canada, Cogito is getting a pasting from Alpha sailed by Fred Eaton, currently Fred has won all six races so far.
Alphas wing is a copy of Cogitos wing but the hull platform developed by Fred is much lighter than Cogito and the reduced weight seems to be paying. So far Alpha has been consistently 1-2mins ahead in each race.
The fully foiling "of yer rocker" is performing well downwind but seems to have trouble upwind. Not enough Veal heel me thinks ! and is not really competing.

if you want to see pictures and read online accounts as it happens from
folks on the water and people in buildings overlooking the course - go and
visit the www.sailinganarchy.com forums where there is a foiling C Class cat
thread that is a must-read, and includes daily postings from most of the
competitors themselves, as well as other building challenges for the next
round.
