Will let you know in September when I visit there for the inlands. It is not far off the A5 though if memory serves (I think it is the A5 thats runs through Wales anyway).....

All this talk of swiming in Bala...There is open 1K event in July http://www.bldsa-bala-swim.co.uk/ - http://www.bldsa-bala-swim.co.uk/   No wetsuits allowed, I hope the lake might be a bit warmer by then!
