Does anyone have a cheap and reliable source of managably small quantities of these useful little caps.

Most small cruiser/racers use them on through deck nut/bolt type fixings to prevent head, hands and sails getting snagged on the bolt tails......but although I have googled and inquired, all I seem to find are either a few out of stock places or places that want to sell them at 50p each for M5 size caps or some places will sell them cheap if you buy a bag of 5000!

None of the chandlers I have tried seem to know what the heck I am talking about and hardware shops only stock the hinged plastic screw head caps found on cheap furniture......I need the ones that make the nut/bolt look like a white dome nut, (in various sizes) I am refitting a 25ft. Racer......and I will not go sailing until I have fixed this little problem.......

Can anyone help please?

Try googling kit car suppliers - I know all exposed nuts on these have to be coverered for the ministry inspection so there must be a supplier out there....

Try this company.  I have used them in industry over the years and found them useful for all sorts of odd stuff.  You usually have to buy a hundred or so of something, but.....
