Check out the image of my sailing club on google earth (co-ords in my signature), it's just been updated and is incredibly clear. Anyone with a few hours top kill? Put your clubs co-ords up for us to check out. I used this image to mage a course card from

Don't put anything non-sailing up though, you can see that sort of stuff elsewhere. Sorry if we've done this but I must have missed it if we did.

Covenham Sailing Club - 53°26'37.97"N, 0°01'31.99"E

Not very good quality but you can see the outline even when zoomed out
quite far.

Weed dragging is in progress! (I can even make out my laser in the boat park which dates this pass at around 2 1/2 years old)

Here's a selection of screengrabs from Local Live, showing Lancing Sailing Club from all angles. I told you it wasn't a big club...

From various boring details, the pass was taken at the end of July 2005, and I'm pretty sure it was on a Thursday morning.

Google and Local.live.com aren't very good for Marconi, as its on the east coast where the pictures are blured.

This is a shot taken by a club member from a helicopter while he was working (honest)

Edit - Forgot to mention this picture was taken in August 06 when the Cadet Week was taking place (hence all the tents/caravans)

Wilsonian Sailing Club - on the Medway.  51°24'44.66"N   0°32'44.91"E The Google Earth photo is old as the clubhouse has been developed since.  But go south and east and you'll see the sailing area.  It looks mighty muddy but then this is with the tide out.  The Fast Handicap fleet generally race down stream of the power station and then back to base.

Bough Beech Sailing Club in the heart of the Kent countryside 51°12'29.32"N   0° 8'40.14"E  The Google picture is low resolution so not as good as this one.

Yeah your right, never seen that before you mentioned it.

What ever boat it is, one small puff (or one large wave) and it'll be over, needs some sort of keel attached to it!!

Don't talk to soon as the club is currently building a pontoon, but to the left (as you see it) of the slipway!! So it will be more like a rudder!!!
