Hiya, Is anyone doing the above event this year and after a crew?

I must stress I have no Cat experience .. Apart from 15 mins in a Hobie 14 in about 5 mph of wind.

Moderate trapeze experience ( I can hook on! )

If anyone gets desperate, Give me a yell .. I've kinda wanted to try racing in a fast Cat for a few years now ... This seems like as good a chance as any! ( Plus I have a bet with a friend over who can get a boat to crew on first !!!)

I was waiting for someone to start a post with ECPR as the title.

Right, Marconi is my home club, so if you are really up for it, I will no doubt be able to put you in touch with people, probably nearer the time and can put a notice up for you as well.

Check out www.marconi-sc.org.uk for details etc. The racing is open to any Cat (or trimaran) from a D15 to the Tornado. I will be down there this year, might be on a boat or just as Shore/Support crew.

Let me know and would be good to see people down there.

I will be down Friday Lunchtime for the ECPR, assuming I get the boat put together, do you fancy a sail on Friday afternoon/evening ?

I'll be sailing single handed for the weekend, but happy to put the Jib and 2nd set of wires on for a sail on Friday if you fancy it.
