The two options are: (The Shadows will use one of these as their first TT)

Bala cat Club Open- May 5/6/7 (Early May Bank Hol weekend). A unique venue- everyone should try it sometime. Amazing scenary, camping next to the lake, very friendly. Not any further for Grafham/ Rutland sailors than the South Coast

Minnis Bay Cat Open- April 21-22nd. Great sailing water and club. This is currently a Spitfire Open, but maybe Simon N can  confirm if the A-Classes will also be there. Maybe we could get the singlehanded F16s along too and have a singlehanders start.

Bala is a bit too close to the F16 Nations cup (Europeans by another name) the following weekend in Mumbles.

Mennis Bay sounds possible.

I've also had a reply back from Rutland saying that there WILL be an open in 2008.

have had a word with a guy on the sailing committee he thinks it is a non starter as we have had to turn down another fleet all ready, but he will bring it up at the next committee meeting unfortunately they have just had a meeting so it will be at next months meeting.
