About a year ago I bought a very cheap drysuit from Typhoon and have used it about a dozen times.

A couple of weeks ago whilst trying to sink an old vintage Merlin I noticed my right leg was rather damp and as I may be knocking on a bit I am not yet incontinent I concluded that the suit must have got snagged on something.

At home I tested it (the suit that is) and found that there were several small leaks around the seal where the boot joined the leg. I rang Typhoon in Redcar and they suggested I send the suit to them. Two days later a phone call from them. Uh Oh I thought repair bill time. How much to repair I said. "Nothing at all the kind man replied  the material is suspect and we are replacing the suit FOC".

I just wanted to praise Typhoon for an excellent, prompt and no quibble service.

Thankyou.

New drysuit arrived this morning. Less than a weeks turnaround and they must be busy with xmas and all that. Fantastic. At least when I go swimming at the Bloody Mary I will stay dry

In that case can I give North Sails OD a big pat on the back. Fixed my mainsail and sent it back within a week, and dead cheap it was too...
