My heart goes out to Alex Tomson I only have a small dinghy, but I would hate to abandon her, it would break my heart.  how Alex must feel.........I can't begin to imagine. Huge thanks to Mike for the successful rescue!  Take care Boys! (sorry this post is in wrong cat. how can I move it?) |

Doh! Ecovers mast has broken in 2 places so now Mike Golding and Alex Thomson are trying to jury rig to make the 1000 miles back to Cape Town. How gutted is that! I'd be asking would it have happened if he hadn't gone back to get Alex?!
