Do you think they have installed new font files on the PC that have impacted other applications?

It may well be because it automatically turns ClearType on, which is meant to make the words sharper and clearer.

Ewww .. Sellouts.

Currently Using: Firefox 1.5.0.8
http://getfirefox.com -
http://getfirefox.com/

Easy to use, its not Microsoft so you wont keep having to install "security upates" while they patch their untested "upgrade" of IE6.

Rick,

Been using IE7 for ages and when you install it, you convert to "clear type" fonts.

You can turn it off via:internet tools/advanced

People still use internet explorer? wow.

I must admit ie7 is slightly better, it's probably only 4 years out of date now.
I can still name 5 superior browsers without even trying though!

Depends where they are using it from. Larger companies are overwhelmingly IE, except maybe in media. Home users and small companies are more varied.

Maybe if the "hackers" found something more useful to do instead of continually trying to get up MS's back door ....

... maybe, just maybe, MS could concentrate on making the program just work!

Global domination .... ummm .... where's by lil cat .... needs stroking
