Lots of questions im afraid but in brief we have a finger size hole which is at the centre of a fist sized damaged area in the bottom of a foam sandwich boat.

How do we go about repairing it and what materials should we use?

Thanks

Ian

You may find that the core damage extends wider than the obvious fist sized section.

Use a coin to tap around the area of damage and you can tell by the sound if the area is solid or broken

If it doesn't break it's too heavy; if it does it wasn't built right
