Your lists are both wrong as they don't contain Pink Floyd.

I know music is a personal choice but you are simply wrong if you don't like Pink Floyd.

P.S. On a similar vein, I got published on another website! Pink Floyd fan site, http://www.brain-damage.co.uk - www.brain-damage.co.uk - take a look at:

http://www.brain-damage.co.uk/general/dg06rah3.html - http://www.brain-damage.co.uk/general/dg06rah3.html

P.P.S. I saw Ned's Atomic Dustbin live at Reading years ago and didn't want to go and kill my television.

This weekend I'm off to Hyde Park Calling - should be good to see The Who as well as Roger Waters' part of Pink Floyd. See http://www.hydeparkcalling.co.uk/artists/ - http://www.hydeparkcalling.co.uk/artists/  for the line-up.

[smug mode on]

In the past I managed to see Pick Floyd at the Rotterdam Stadium (amazing sound) and the year before I was in Berlin (along with about 750,000 others) for the Roger Walters "The Wall" concert, and I was about 20 yards from the front.

The Berlin concert was amazing.  The stage was so big that the opening act (the Scorpions) came on on the back of an Articualted lorry and the "Wall" was so high when it was finished we had to strain our necks.

I went to the Berlin concert too, about 50 yards from the front! I thought 'Comfortably Numb' being played with the two guitarists at the top of the wall (50 metres high and quarter of a mile wide) was the highlight.

It's got 2 be:

1. 3 Doors Down

2. Foo Fighters (the best live band ever, I will take no argument on this point!)

3.Lostprophets (also pretty awesome live)

4.Audioslave (Tom Morello, guitar genius)

5.Less Than Jake (the new album is brilliant)

6.New Found Glory

7.Jimmy Eat World

8.Queen

9.American HiFi

10.Rage Against The Machine (without doubt the best riffs ever played!)

Also just missing out: The Subways, Angels and Airwaves, Yellowcard, Stereophonics, Rammstein, Johnny Cash (if he counts as a band), Hoobastank and Goldfinger.

Do you mean the "old" lost prophets or the "new" lost prophets?
I just can't understand how they went from being a 90s rock band to a naughties emo band.  They basically only do their music for popularity and money, they saw that the fashion was changing in the "emo" direction so they all cut their hair in that ridiculous emo style and just completely adjusted their musical style to follow the fashion.  In my opinion bands and music should lead fashion and set new trends but the lost prophets have just followed everyone else and for that have gone way, way down in my estimation.

Also on my annoyance list:  The Fratellis.
I don't actually mind them as a band and i actually think they have some quite good songs but why does their front man try to look exactly like bob dylan..... black drainpipes, curly hair, leather jacket, pointy shoes, even down to his mannerism.....   Look mate, Bob Dylan's been and gone, you can't just BE him!!!
Roxy Music are fantastic though......great songs, Bryan Ferry's a great front-man and Brian Eno is one of the greatest guitarrists ever........some of his effects are just incredible, they're a great band!

Hey cool.

The whole thing was just amazing.  We got caught in a traffic jam "Somewhere in East Germany" there were so many cars trying to get there; parked the car in the outskirts of Berlin and got a train in.  We were in Berlin about 14:00 and just got as far forward as possible and waited.  Was not untill the next day (in a bar in Holland) that we were watching it on TV and realised how many people where there.  It've still (I think) got the T shirt somewhere.  Mad Mad weekend!

I went to see the lost prophets on thursday, the music wasn't really that great but the night was made much better by the amount of carling drank (thought it as appropriate since we were at the carling acadamy). But the Lost Prophets have turned WAY too emo!

I mean both old and new lostprophets, despite what everyone's said the new album is actually better than The Fake Sound Of Progress and they're not as emo as some people think. I saw them live on monday and they can still get a hell of a circle pit going for shinobi and burn burn
