10 boats (and I have forgotten the 24ft rule as a VX counts as a Dinghy in my book)

VX40
Tornado (maybe made of carbon to shed a few pounds) for distance racing
Marstrom M20 (to compare with the Tornado)
My new boat 10 foot wide A class with a Kite (If I ever get to build it).
18 Footer
Dragon
Foiling Moth

And then for the Kids

Oppie
Topper
29er

Foiling Moth

Int 14 (foiling one)

18ft skiff

12ft skiff

rs300

and of course the "SC15" as it was the (in)famous winner of the ugliest boat prize and the vids of it just entice me to sail one

Posted By: Jamie

Depends on the user, I'm too heavy for a oppy as well, and I've sailed them. I could just take the A-class out in high wind. I am not a good helm from the wire so the I14 would have plenty of power if I had a medium sized crew. And the canoe would be just fun whatever. I only commented on the b14 weight issue cause it's a hiker. and I would just have less hiking to do... shame.

No the VO70 is not a Dinghy !

Technically, I'd say the VX40 aint a dinghy neither plus its over 24 feet. The reason that I mentioned the VO70 is purely due to its performance and the power to weight ratio being paralleled to an 18 foot skiff.

Ok guys well have spent a while thinking about this and have come to a conclusion that:

RS600 quick to rig only one sail and good fun for a late afternoon sail

49er just an amazing boat and want to race them

18footer aussie rules unlimited wing span

MPS for the time you need to be alone and go for a real blast

A class with a kite just for pure and uttere speed

Laser for class racing

Tornado just coz its super quick

F18 just coz i love them

505 as they are a sh*t hot old school class which still is amazing

And a moth just to keep me entertained

yeh! iv got a 600 and its the best thing ever(not assy as i cant afford the ones in my list) with singlehanders you can always go sailing and still go at the same if not more speed as most other boats, perfect.
