I went Musto skiffing on Moreton Bay in Brisbane today...
...that came pretty close to paradise in my book

OK - now the guilt is setting in...
...but it's the little pleasures that make the pain bearable...
...isn't it?

That's the spirit... Now you feel strong enough to be away from your boat a little longer.

Was the sea full of lightly glad lovlies applauding your skill whilst offering you pints of the finest real ale or belgian beer, whilst polishing your olympic gold medal and filling up your E-type ready for you to drive on empty smooth winding roads up to your log cabin in the mountains where the hot tub is bubbling and the lobster burger is being freshly prepared for you?
no?
not paradise my friend not by a long shot!
------------- I might be sailing it, but it's still sh**e!

24th-28th July.
Garda.a.k.a Sailing Mecca.
Should come close.
------------- Not all chemicals are bad. Without chemicals such as hydrogen and
oxygen, for example, there would be no way to make water, a vital
ingredient in beer.

That sounds quite a personal concept of paradise, tack'ho. It's obvious you're setting the standards quite high, but a lobster burger doesn't really appeal to me (you can have the bread, I'll have the lobster) and a sea full of lightly glad ladies ?? I thought you'd push it to extatic!! (sigh) Even in paradise, we're not safe from typos...
Now... the E-type on empty roads... that's more like it? What do you say, no speed limits??? Now, that's paradise!!

Better than me. I read it long after it got published, just out of curiosity. What a load of c p! Amazing that a book so badly written, exploiting such worn-out theories, could have sold so much. Ask Mark, he'll tell you how irritated I was (hmmph... muttering under my breath...)
I think I'm going to try Jordan's autobiography next

no what it was was that the original 1st page of the bible was lost, what it said was "this book should not be used for the basis of any religion...(rest of red dwarf quote here)"

wasn't it 'this book is purely ficticious and any similarity to any persons living or dead is purely coincidental'
Guess we aren't a paticularly religious lot on here then!

anyhow, back to paradise...
I forgot to mention that the kite halyard is so free running on the Musto that the 4mm line doesn't even make the slightest mark on ungloved hands...
