yeah just havn't got the weight for it . I can't really handle it that well in anything above a F3 so there's not much point in keeping it. Oh well!
Looking to get a moth next...so if anyone knows of a nice one going please tell me!
And yeah strawb i am massively tempted by the ole cherubs but i think
i'll leave it a couple of years so i can get some money together to get
a project going.

Either you sell the 600 or you store it in Dad's garage (get rid of the junk first) until you reach adulthood and become a fine specimen of English male... It is a gruelling exercise, but BWD, Turnturtle and many others will be able to give you tips and support. They know what sacrifices it takes to be "optimized for strong winds!"

i did ask the 600 yahoo group what they thought the minimum weight should be, and someone said 62kg would be the very minimum. I just wanted to make sure i wouldn't struggle too much.

Wow, that is light! I've done bigger poo's than that! 53kg is very light for a person, but very heavy for a turd!

You're plenty heavy enough, im 62-63 kg and dont have any problems....you just keep on cranking that downhaul and i mean REALLY crank it on!! Anything that you might lose in a straight line against someone heavier going upwind, you can MORE than make up for through good tacking. As for downwind, you have the advantage at your weight. It really is a technique boat, not a brute force beast! Dont let anyone tell you your not big enough, i had loads of people tell me not to bother and yet ive never been happier with a boat and ive learnt so so much! Doug

Yes Tim, 53kilos is a very heavy poo, the night before must have been
one hell of a pig-out session for a mammoth turd like that!

Yes we do: he has paid his membership fees . The last time I checked Hippo's didn't qualify for Visa OR Mastercard. And before you ask, they don't qualify for AMEX either (but very fat cats do)

Why on earth would I want that to happen?! The male to female ratio in nottingham is 1:5 so if I start spending more than one night with each I will never get through them all!!
Not sure I fit into the 'hippo' category yet, its just the product of a highly efficient digestive system... tuned by beer and kebab.

The nationals are at Looe on the 7th - 10th of september. The guys on the 600 circuit are really friendly and helpful so you certainly wont be left feeling like a stranger when you do come to the circuit. Certainly hope to see you there!
