Ahhh all those newcomers... Once upon a time on the forum, there were fewer members posting less frequently than our current friends. In those days, there wasn't even a Banter section! When Sailor girl reached the coveted target of ONE HUNDRED posts, she was crowned with the title of Posting King. Naturally, she objected to this gender discrimination, but in vain. When I reached the same title, I claimed to be a Posting Monarch instead. (you can laugh, but it meant a lot in those days... a post required deep thought and frequent references to your favourite dictionary... it wasn't as cheap as it is today... we had shillings and farthings, ounces and furlongs, life was great and the sun was warmer... ooops... time for my pills...) Anyway, Sailor Girl collected 3, then 4 stars as she added steadily to the infinite pool of knowledge which is the forum (yeah yeah, some were "lol", " So there!
