Tuesday...

On holiday in the Yorkshire Dales. Have many hobbies but looking at birds (the feathered variety) is of absolutly zero interest to me.  Go walking to Malham Cove and come across volunteer RSPB chaps who have set up some telescopes on nesting Peregrines.  Utterly amazed by these 200mph creatures in the wild hunting and eating, amazing sight through the scope.  Donate £2 to RSPC collection and pick up little Peregrine pin badge...I can almost see why these guys do it.

Friday...

Hang sailing boots (wet from Wednesday night's racing) on totally clear, big long washing line in back garden.  Go to make cup of tea and look out of kitchen window whilst kettle boils.

Robin lands on boots.

Robin craps in boots.

Little bar-steward.  Birds are rubbish again.

(hope he gets nailed by a Peregrine)

classic,  what is the point in birds ( the fury type with wings) all they do is poo, eat and flap around.  also at my home sailing club there is a bird resurve at the top of the lake and mean's we cant sail in the area cos of some green peice twat said that there is some birds there even though they spend most of there time in the other part of the lake? i just dont get it.

It could only happen to you Iain....

What you need is a conservatory with a radiator in it. Thats where mine go after a day on the water, dries them out in no time.

(Perhaps in its previous life it was a SMOD sailor and is now getting its own back on a part time Cherubite)

Iain mate,

I'd give the cat a kick up the arse and tell her to stop flirting with her two boyfriends and do her job!

Yeah sure... stick the stamp upside down, write the approximate address in an uncertain hand ("postcode? Hmmmphgh... it's somewhere up North, where they talk funny.... I've put Dennis Watson, Scotland - it shud get there!") and go out. Stumble to the nearest postbox, grab hold of it while waiting for the vision to focus again and identify the slit. Fight the impending nausea, search all pockets and realise you've left the letter at home.

Slump down against the postbox to appraise the situation...................

The postie will wake you in the morning!

Not crashing no! It's been on a downward spiral for quite a while now... It's only come down to a level you boys can understand...

[FX Boggle] birds, cat and boyfriends, and now a cow upside down on the sofa? Have you moved to a bigger house?
