I need some new toe straps for my albacore after mine snapped this weekend and I took a spectacular backflip off the boat. Can any one tell me where I can get some padded toestraps from that arent going to cost the earth

Try Rooster, they may have to make them specially for the Alb though. I have them in the Blaze and had them in my Laser, can't beat them for comfort and grip (not sure on price, the Laser one was not too expensive though, the Blaze came with them.

I'm in the process of ordering a toe strap from rooster for my Byte CII, they would almost definatly have to make it custom and my order has not been exactly swift, however good thing to those who wait etc...

Probably best to call Rooster, I find they are better at phone support than replying to e-mail. You may even get Steve C answer the phone, he is always more than happy to take your order and talk all things sailing for a while!
