I reckon we need more stars for the 4 figure target...

-------------

Posted By: Black no sugar
Date Posted: 28 Mar 06 at 9:18am
Nah, long time ago, when CFC got to his 1000th, the idea of more stars was raised. It won't happen because it would encourage (some) members to post rubbish, only to get yet another star. And honestly, once you've passed 1000 posts, you've made your mark on the forum anyway and you don't need extra recognition  .
Time to take a break and leave a bit of space to the newbies, I say....

Basicaly Luke wants just to whore himself off, and is using being able to sail at grafham as justification...

we only give as good as we get on here. I think luke has been plenty mean to ppl over his time here that we can give him a bit of stick for a few things. I mean hes posted more comments than the rest that means hes likely to have posted more mean ones

I think we should all give Luke a break and start picking on those who never post!
Pick one of the "Zero posters" at the bottom of the list and make up a life for them:

I choose Simon Martin, BWD's long-lost twin brother.
When BWD was born, he was the biggest of triplets, 2 boys and a girl. Mrs Mummy Martin could not face the idea of having to bring up 2 BWDs (the teats sold for baby bottles wouldn't fit on cans of Stella). It's with a heavy heart she had to trust a Lowestoft family to bring up Simon who, years later by a strange twist of fate, joined the forum where his brilliant brother is filling the job of a part-time guru!
Let's reunite them!

Then again, let's wait and see if the real Simon Martin comes posting in a fury..

and let's give Luke a break...

It's easy to get addicted, but after a while you don't want to repeat yourself and calm down a bit... I know I did, much to everyone's relief!

That doesn't mean anything... We've had members here, talking complete rubbish (not like you, Isis, obviously) and clocking phenomenal averages (up to 17 per day). They are long gone now, while more steady if somewhat less verbose contributors are still going strong!
