One day the kids will fly the nest, and I'll rattle around a 4-bed house all alone. As well as the option to move house, downsizing, there is the temptation to dream of renting the house out while I live on a yacht for a few years. All I need is wifi and table, to work from home.

But does the maths ever work out? Does massive profit await me?

Will I regret the cramped space and the cold? Or will it be a pure joy, even if I never leave the marina...?

Who has already tried this, and what words of wisdom can you share, please?
