How true. If you're going, get a map of the bouys, memorise it, tattoo it on your crews forehead, paint it on your sails - you'll still go wrong at some point during the week.

Don't let that put you off though - it's great sailing.

its in one of the best sailing areas in the uk!!!! far better than most of these south coast locations

I did the 400 nationals there last year and we got rubbish wind but if the wind had been good i think it wld have been a superb bit of sailing water

you want an nice south westerly force 4-5 and its uinbeatable nice rolling waves with some of the most undisturbed wind i've ever sailed in

The first day when we launched there was a swel going in 1 direction and waves in the other that would have been fantastic had the wind held up.
