Is this a piece of Wall Art ?

No - It's actually the gelcoated hull of a very special new H2 built by Hadron Dinghies.
This is an example of what you can achieve from a very talented bespoke boatbuilder on the beautiful base hull of an H2.
Just returned from it's second outing at this years' Nationals and a 3rd place in the first race shows it can be a fast boat too. Normal helm service resumed in subsequent races so if you want to see this boat out on the water start looking from the back of the fleet not the front !
Inspirational juices are flowing, and expect to see more amazing finishes on the boats coming out of the strong forward orderboard of this growing class.

.....it's Pollocks.

Looks very nice indeed. Don't normally see much abstract art around sailing clubs so I'll applaud it.

I have no idea on the technical aspects of gelcoat so can't comment on structural integrity. Dark colours do absorb more light and heat though.

Well I could always use it as a perfect excuse for examining the bottom in more detail mid race..

Looks even better in the flesh than in the pics! Still smiling about the weekend's wave-train rides at Herne Bay and looking forward to seeing this beauty on the stand at the RYA show in Feb!

Very nice indeed, you must have huge pride of ownership. I still miss my Black Magic Laser with white spars. Now I'm surround by a sea of bland Vela grey hulls.

Herne Bay? Right in Griffalo country, he could have popped over.

Nobody actually goes to Herne Bay only visitors from that Lunnon, they like to view the twin headed inbreds with six toes and fingers who call their sister mum.

Looks great. I would hate to have to do a gel repair and match it up.

When I saw that I assumed it was a vinyl wrap, looks great. Did your insurer hike your fee due to the work involved in any future gelcoat fixes?

We invited him last time we were in Hernia Bay three years ago for a demo but he did not show up!
