For Mr Jardine really, any pics of the sailing from this event - also we promised the full result list I believe?  I was hoping to look at pics of the fleet and have a competition to see how many different wind directions we could spot.

I did the race last year - the highlight was an Oppie nearly getting pinned between the two hulls of the Tornado - luckily the Oppie was going slightly faster at the time...

At one point 180 degree wind sheer - windex pointing due south, jib filling from north, in the end we resorted to just pointing the boat in the direction we wanted go and waiting for the right swirl of wind.  Still it was a giggle.

that could be diffrent the top of your kite filling and the bottom of it backing not fast

We were only able to fly the kite on one short blast.  It was hoist - blast - drop.  The only asymetric that was in the top 3 was Geoff Carveth in an RS200.  They seemed to be able to carry their kite in places that we couldn't and that helped.

So which is leeward and which windward boat?

It could have been Port/Starboard. I reckon you could fit an Oppie hule either way round between the Tornado hulls.
