Going to be same next year, so need to plan for your enjoyment, work around issues, they managed during second World War, and, with less food, no petrol and no TV. ------------- Robert |

I had a quick search..... she is someone with various mad theories on anything and everything and has nothing better to do than post every 5 seconds on Twitter. She thinks the various strains of Covid are arriving by immigrants in rubber dinghies ...... Someone who needs to get a life ..... TT obviously follows her ....... ;-)

haha - 1) for the echo chambers of public opinion 2) no idea, but with over 150 retweets, it came up and my eyes were drawn... to the word 'dinghy'. Probably because it was at least spelled correctly, which is unusual for Twitter.

Echo chamber is the right description - I was on Twitter ages ago and as far as I could tell it was just people shouting into the internet and not really reading anything that other people posted. Reminded me of speakers corner in Hyde Park with all those "foil hats" yelling about the end of the world. I assumed it had just died a death on the basis that it served no real utility for man kind and once the Orange Idiot was out the way it would simply collapse....but clearly it has survived and Tweets live on! ------------- H2 #115 (sold) H2 145 OK 2082 |
