Interested to know how big commitees are on peep's sailing clubs, my relatively small club (circa 450members) has 15 people on the commitee. That seems pretty hard to fill the places...as i see it the general commitee should look like this for efficient (and easier?) decision making, then sub commitees of these to organise the different sections?
1. commodore
2. Vice Com
3. sailing
4. Treasurer
5. sec / membership
6. House / bar / social??

How is your club organised at 'da management' level?

P.S. are you charity clubs?

Committee at local club is 25% of the membership!

But we're probably the smallest club in the country.

God with 15 on a committee does anything get done?

We have Commodore, Vice Commodore, Rear Cmmdr Sailing, Rear Cmmdr Windsurfing, Hon Sec, Membership Sec, Treasurer, Publicity Officer, Training Officer and Kiting Rep. Then we did have a sub racing committee though I'm not so sure that's particularly active.
Not sure how many members now, usually around a couple of hundred.
